I realized that, even though Seattle is approaching, we haven't really begun training yet. If it weren't for Nicole coming back to visit and asking me to run with her....
My excuses? I've added to my plate a temporary part time job to help with money matters and have had to pick and choose very carefully what other activities I can participate in. Running just hasn't been up there on my list of priorities.
Lesson to learn now for my goals this next year?
I'll have to be careful about what commitments I make with my time if I'm going to be able to train for seven events and finish well. Very careful.
I'll have to do some thinking about what kinds of things I may have to give up?
A vacation in the caribbean, for starters.
